We need to decide what are intentions are. Do we want to create a great civilization, or create mediocre excuse for a civilization- with the convenience of lap-tops, cell-phones and multiple hand-held electronic devices? No one really needs those things. No one really needs a Hummer.
Homer, Aristotle, DaVinci, Michelangelo, Rodin and Renoir accomplished many things without such devices. Ancient Egypt and Ancient China had worthwhile civilizations which lasted thousands of years, without our busy technologies; without our busy distractions.
